Today was the EACH Prayer Walk here in the Metro Detroit area. EACH stands for Everyone A Chance To Hear. It is a ministry that is helping to gather metro Detroit area churches together for a common cause. The ministry goal is to ensure that everyone in the metro Detroit area has in one form or another heard the Gospel Message. Through collaboration, prayer, strategy and training, EACH hopes to reach 3.5 million people.
Today, Saturday April 16th tens of thousands of fellow believers gathered downtown near Comerica Park to worship, encourage and pray for our city and region. It was a blessing to see God protect us from rainy weather as we met. It was raining all around us but right downtown we didn’t get rained on during our worship or walk. What a blessing to see people praying for others as we walked from the ball park to the spirit of Detroit statue and back. The music was performed by a variety of worship bands and also included the “Selected of God” choir.
